"(Un)Inherited Legacies" is a deeply personal exploration of the emotional and cultural inheritances that shape us. Initiated in Tehran and completed in New York, this work embodies the liminal space between two cities, two lives, and two selves. It reflects on the complexities of carrying familial histories—some embraced, others questioned—and the process of navigating the space between inheritance and self-definition. Through layered textures and forms, the piece delves into the emotional landscapes of memory, loss, and the search for belonging, inviting viewers to contemplate their own inherited narratives and the ways they choose to carry them forward.
